Baby Swaddle FAQ
Q. How should I use a baby swaddle at each stage of my newborn's growth?
A. Use can be divided into the following three stages according to your newborn's growth:Early (1-3 months):
Wrap the newborn's hands and body snugly and place them on their back, which can increase your baby's sense of security, reduce startle reflexes, and help your baby sleep calmly. Through the wrap sleeves, your baby can also explore their face and be soothed without scratching themselves. The wide-cut hem lets your baby's legs stretch freely, supporting leg development.
Middle (3-6 months):
When your baby starts rolling over, fold the wrap sleeves from inside out and let your baby's left and right hands out at the right time to develop fine motor movements.
Later (6 months and up):
Open the two-way zipper at the bottom and it works as a growing sleep vest, keeping your baby warm without worrying about kicking off the blanket in the night.
Q. What should I note when using a baby swaddle?
A. Baby swaddles are "personal hygiene items" sold sealed for hygiene reasons and cannot be resold once opened, so baby swaddles are "not eligible for the 7-day trial period or no-questions-asked returns and exchanges." Be sure to check the size chart before you buy.Q. How do swaddles compare in ease of putting on?
A. Back-sleeping swaddle (butterfly swaddle) = wrap-style swaddle > traditional gauze swaddleQ. How easy are swaddles for new parents to get the hang of?
A. Back-sleeping swaddle (butterfly swaddle) > wrap-style swaddle >> traditional gauze swaddleQ. How do prices compare across swaddle types?
A. Back-sleeping swaddle (butterfly swaddle) > wrap-style swaddle > traditional gauze swaddleQ. How do swaddle types compare in value for money?
A. Some back-sleeping swaddles can convert into a sleep sack, and traditional gauze swaddles can serve as a blanket; both are considered great-value products!Q. Why should a swaddle material be stretchy?
A. Stretchy material makes it more comfortable to wear.Q. Why is four-way stretch material important for swaddles?
A. Besides choosing stretchy fabric, ordinary stretch swaddles stretch only side to side, which only improves wearing comfort. Four-way stretch adds front-to-back stretch, so the swaddle is less likely to be kicked open when your baby stretches their legs. This greatly reduces hassle for caregivers and doesn't restrict your child's development.Baby Swaddle Washing FAQ
[Mang Mang]BedtimeFor baby swaddle sleep sacks, the all-season style's cotton content is95%, and the summer cooling style's is50%cotton+45%rayon(man-made fiber)。
Q: Does pure cotton clothing pill too?
A: Pilling happens when static electricity builds up from fibers rubbing against each other. There are many kinds of cotton, and unless you rarely wash it, even the best cotton will pill to some degree. Clothing also pills from rubbing against underlying garments when worn, so items worn very often will definitely pill!
Q: How should I wash it to reduce pilling?
A:
1, Use a gentle laundry detergent to avoid damaging the fibers.
2, Turn the garment inside out before putting it in the washing machine, use a fine-mesh laundry bag, and choose the "gentle wash" cycle. If hand washing, we recommend soaking and pressing rather than rubbing!
3, Simply air dry clothes. Tumble dryers are not recommended, especially for pure cotton garments, because they damage the fibers.
Q: What should I do if clothes have already pilled?
A:
1, If the pilling is mild, remove it with tape; if it is quite heavy, gently shave it off with a razor or a non-electric lint shaver(using very little pressure), or buy a dedicated fabric shaver.
2, Brush gently with a toothbrush to remove larger pills.
3, Scouring pad or fine sandpaper: use the rougher side of the scouring pad and brush over the pilled fabric, again without pressing too hard.(Fine sandpaper works on the same principle)
*Never pull pills off with your hands, as this tugs the garment, which not only distorts it but also widens the gaps between fibers and makes pilling even more likely!
